Grounds
Feather Hill's Kennel is located in southern Indiana
on over 150 acres of woods, fields, and ponds.
Upland training can be accomplished on site at
our Dog Training Grounds. The state of Indiana requires landowners to obtain a permit enabling us to use quail and pheasants year round for training. The fields are planted and stripped with milo for bird cover and for the wildlife. Beginning water work is also done on the property. We also take the dogs off property for additional field
work and water work.
The dogs are exercised on miles of four wheeler trails through the woods, around the fields, up and
down the hills. There are several ponds to cool the dogs off during their runs.
